Most of us own 5 to 15 gadgets — phones, laptops, earbuds, ACs, refrigerators, washing machines. And yet, when something breaks, we scramble to find the warranty card, remember when we last got it serviced, or figure out what model we even have. GadgetCloud changes that.

What Is GadgetCloud?

GadgetCloud is your personal digital vault for every gadget you own. Think of it as a digital twin of your real-world devices — storing everything from the brand and model number to warranty documents, purchase invoices, photos, and the complete service history of each device.

It lives inside your FixMyGadgets account and works seamlessly with our repair booking system. When you book a repair, your gadget details are pre-filled. When a technician completes a job, the service record is automatically added to your gadget's history.

What Can You Store?

For each gadget in your cloud, you can track:

  • Device specs — Category, brand, model, serial number, purchase date, warranty expiry
  • Photos — Pictures of the device, damage, or current condition
  • Documents — Warranty cards, purchase invoices, insurance papers, AMC contracts
  • Service history — Every repair done through FixMyGadgets, automatically logged with date, technician, and details
  • Custom notes — Accessories, configuration details, or anything else you want to remember

AI-Powered Smart Diagnostics

One of the features that makes GadgetCloud more than just a storage vault is the built-in AI diagnosis engine. Before you book a repair, you can describe your issue in plain language — "my phone screen has green lines" or "AC is making a grinding noise" — and our AI assistant Fixo will:

  1. Identify the likely problem — cracked LCD panel, compressor bearing failure, etc.
  2. Assess urgency — whether it needs immediate attention or can wait
  3. Estimate complexity — simple fix, moderate repair, or needs specialist attention
  4. Suggest questions the technician might ask, so you are prepared
  5. Auto-detect the device category from your description and pre-fill the booking form

The diagnosis is powered by Amazon Nova Pro and is completely free — no booking required. It works for all 8 device categories.

How Auto-Save Works

When you book a repair through FixMyGadgets, the system automatically saves the device to your GadgetCloud if it is not already there. It uses smart duplicate detection (matching brand + model) so you never end up with duplicate entries.

After the technician completes the repair, your gadget's service count is automatically incremented and the repair details are logged in the service history. Over time, you build a complete maintenance record for every device you own — useful for resale value, warranty claims, or just keeping track.

Bulk Import and Export

Already have a list of your gadgets? You can bulk import up to 50 devices at once using our CSV template. Download the template, fill in your device details, and upload. Each row becomes a gadget in your cloud.

Need to take your data elsewhere? Export all your gadgets as CSV or JSON with a single click. Your data is always yours.

You have 3 phones, 2 laptops, an AC in every room, a refrigerator, a washing machine, and a TV. That is 10+ devices. With GadgetCloud, you register each one with its warranty info and purchase date. Privacy and Security

Your GadgetCloud data is stored securely on AWS with encryption at rest. Photos and documents are stored in a private S3 bucket accessible only to you. We never share your device information with third parties.

File Management: Warranty Cards, Invoices, and Manuals

GadgetCloud supports 7 document types per gadget. Each file gets a colour-coded label so you always know what you are looking at:

Files are stored in a private S3 bucket. Only you and users you assign can access them. Supported formats: images (JPG, PNG, HEIC) and PDF documents.

Multi-User Access: Owner, User, and Maintainer

GadgetCloud now supports three roles per gadget, so the right people always have the right access:

To assign someone: go to the gadget's edit page, enter their registered email, and the platform resolves it to their account name. They immediately see the gadget in their "My Gadgets" list with a role badge showing "Assigned to you" or "You maintain this."

Service Count: Automatic Repair History

Every time a repair is completed through FixMyGadgets, your gadget's service count increments automatically. No manual entry required. The gadget detail page shows:

  • Total repairs — how many times the device has been serviced
  • Service history timeline — each repair with date, technician, and final status
  • Current location — auto-updated when a repair is in progress, reverts when done

This builds a verified maintenance record over time — useful for warranty claims, insurance, and resale.
