Product Launch Refer & Earn: How the FixMyGadgets Referral Program Works
Every FixMyGadgets user gets a unique referral code. Share it with friends, family, or colleagues — when they sign up and use the platform, both of you benefit.
Your Referral Code
Your code is auto-generated when you create your account. It follows the format `NAME4DIGITS` — for example, `RAHUL8942`. You can find it on your Refer & Earn page along with a ready-to-share invite link.
The invite link takes your friend directly to the signup page with your code pre-filled. No need for them to type it manually.
How Sharing Works
- Copy your referral code or invite link from the Refer & Earn page
- Share it via WhatsApp, SMS, email, or any messaging app
- Your friend signs up using the link (or enters your code during registration)
- You see them appear in your referral list as Pending
Once they complete their first action on the platform, their status changes to Converted.
Rewards
Referral rewards work on two levels:
Signup Bonus
When a referred friend signs up:

Cash Reward
When a referred customer completes a repair through the platform, you earn 5% of the assignment fee as a cash reward. This is credited to your Rewards Balance.
Tier Progression
Your referral tier determines bonus multipliers:

The Refer & Earn page shows your current tier, progress to the next tier, and how many more referrals you need.
Tracking Your Referrals
The referral dashboard shows:
- Total Referred — everyone who used your code
- Converted — completed signups
- Rewards Balance — accumulated cash from repair completions
- This Month — referrals converted in the current period
Below the stats, the Referral History table lists every referral with:
- Referee name and signup date
- Status badge — Pending, Converted, or Rewarded
- Reward amount earned (if any)
Per-User Limits
Your account has configurable limits that scale with your tier:
- Max Gadgets — how many devices you can register in GadgetCloud
- Max Docs Per Gadget — document upload limit per device
- Max Jobs Per Day — daily repair booking limit
These limits can be increased by your referral tier or by admin adjustment.
Both Roles Can Refer
Customers and partners both get referral codes. A customer can refer a partner, a partner can refer a customer, or either can refer someone of their own role. The referral link works regardless of which role the new user registers as.
